Zebra Technologies (Previously Motorola)

Motorola Solutions was one of the market leaders in developing handheld terminals, barcode scanners and enterprise mobility solutions, until it was acquired by Zebra Technologies in October 2014. Together, the companies will provide industry leading data capture; mobile computing; speciality printing and asset tracking solutons and services. In the past, Zebra (formerly Motorola) has developed mobile computers, such as the MC55, MC70 and MC75 and its DCRx00-200R device which is an EMV-based payment snap-on. Working with STS, a mobile EMV payment solution using the Motorola hardware and STS payment solution has successfully been deployed in Europe. The MPM-100 has contactless capability and can be used with any Zebra device including its new tablet device. Zebra has offices and customers worldwide and they currently employ around 22,000 staff members within 65 countries. STS has worked with Zebra in the UK, USA, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Poland and Australia.
